Lyra Valkyria: I Never Needed Bayley Or Becky Lynch, The Only Place That’s Left To Go Is Straight To The Top

Lyra Valkyria reacts to defeating Bayley at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event this past weekend, noting that she never needed Bayley.

Over the course of the past several weeks, former tag team partners Lyra Valkyria and Bayley would feud, with Lyra walking away with the victory in their blowoff match at this past weekend’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Despite having a suspected broken nose in the bout, Lyra would lock in a Bulldog Choke to score the submission victory.

In a new video posted to WWE’s social media on Monday, Lyra would be approached by a camera backstage, where she would cut a short promo where she noted that she didn’t need Becky Lynch or Bayley and that she is going straight to the top.

“This feels so good. This might be the best I’ve felt in my entire life. I never needed Bayley. I never needed Becky. You’re on your own. It’s the way to go, and now the only place that’s left to go is straight to the top.”
