Mark Davis: If I Was Trapped In A House Fire, I’d Want Jake Doyle To Carry Me To Safety
Mark Davis thinks very highly of Jake Doyle.
Davis and Doyle kicked off 2026 with a bang by forming their tag team and even having a competitive match with FTR.
That momentum came to an end shortly after, as Davis suffered a bicep injury. As of publish time, he has yet to return from this minor setback.
Speaking with Fightful for a new interview, Mark Davis reacted to the ‘Jake & Cake’ proposed team name that has made its way around the internet.
“That’s a level of creativity that I aspire to hopefully one day achieve. Fantastic, fantastic suggestion. Perhaps when the big dog’s back and killing it again, we’ll put it to a vote. See what Don thinks.”
Davis went on to say that he would trust Doyle to carry him out of a house fire.
“Yeah. If I was trapped in a house fire, that’s who I’d want to carry me to safety to be honest with you. He’d be at the top of my speed dial. Just an absolute stallion of a human being. Beautiful eyes. Also very, very, very handsome. He’s a fantastic professional wrestler. I can’t wait for him to be back on the roster, be back on the playing field and absolutely just crushing it.”
