Matt Hardy recalls how he used to sew he and Jeff Hardy’s ring gear during their time with WWE in the 90s as enhancement talent.

While the Hardy’s would later become one of the most iconic tag teams in pro wrestling history, during the majority of the 90s the pair would be largely used as enhancement talent in the company to build up other teams in the ring. Despite their status within the company however, the pair would still need gear, and this is where Matt would step in.

While speaking to The Stunner in a new interview, going through Matt Hardy’s Wikipedia page, the elder Hardy brother would share how he sewed the tights that the pair would wear during the 90s on WWE TV.

“I did. Yes. I sewed all of the tights we wore. All of the tights that you saw us wear on WWE TV in the 90s, I sewed all of those as well. So we didn’t have a ton of money, and tights were so expensive back then. So our mom had dad when we were younger. I dusted off our old sewing machine and taught myself how to sew, and then I started making our tights.”

Matt recently spoke about Jeff potentially taking some time off to deal with a neck injury. You can read more about that here.
