Maya World Wants To Continue Teaming With Hyan: “Definitely Wanna Stay With My Girl”
Maya World wants to continue teaming with Hyan.
There is a new TBS Champion in All Elite Wrestling, and it is Maya World. She scored a win over Hikaru Shida to capture the title at the Redemption pay-per-view.
After the show, World was a guest on the post-show media scrum. She was asked if there are still tag team aspirations with her partner Hyan. World said she wants to continue teaming with her partner.
“Of course. That’s my — yes, for sure. I love tag wrestling and I’m so glad that — honestly, I would never imagine that I’d be signed as a tag wrestler but, me and her (Hyan) love it so much. We always are picking each other’s brains. I’m like, ‘Did you watch this?’ We send each other matches to watch, study, and I love tag wrestling so definitely wanna stay with my girl Hyan.”
World and Hyan were signed to All Elite Wrestling in December 2025. They last teamed together on the July 15th Dynamite in a six-woman tag team match.
