Mercedes Mone Wins 2026 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, Will Challenge For AEW Women’s Title At AEW All In

Mercedes Mone is back on top.

Mone won the 2026 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, defeating Maya World in the finals.

The finish saw Mercedes hit the backstabber and lock in the statement maker, forcing Maya to tap out.

With this victory, Mercedes will challenge for the AEW Women’s Title at AEW All In. Thekla is the reigning AEW Women’s Champion.

Mercedes was the Wild Card competitor in the tournament, replacing the injured Willow Nightingale. She defeated Alex Windsor and Hazuki in her two tournament matches. Maya was also a replacement, taking the place of an injured Sareee. She defeated Skye Blue and Athena on her path to the finals.

Mercedes Mone won the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, but failed to win the AEW Women’s Title at All In, losing to Toni Storm. Mercedes is the first person to win the Owen Hart Foundation tournament twice.
