Mister Saint Laurent Says He Was Responsible For Bringing Don King To MLW

Don King worked with MLW via remote appearances.

There was a point in 2023 when legendary promoter Don King was featured in Major League Wrestling. King was revealed as the financial backer of Bomaye Fight Club, which was headed by then-MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Kane.

King’s involvement with MLW came through the organization’s former Chief Operating Officer, Mister Saint Laurent. Saint Laurent wrapped up with MLW in February 2026.

Jason Powell of the Pro Wrestling Boom Podcast did an interview with Saint Laurent, and the former C.O.O. shared that when he was a teenager, he used to intern for King.

“I’m 28 years now in the fight business. I’ve worked in wrestling, boxing and MMA since I was 15 years old full-time… I started as an intern with Don King when I was 15 years old so… People were curious about that,” Saint Laurent said about Don King’s MLW appearances. “But yeah, that’s how that came about.”

Saint Laurent opened up about his departure from MLW, and his comments can be read here.
