Nick Aldis Reinstated As WWE SmackDown General Manager

Nick Aldis reinstated as WWE SmackDown general manager.

Following WWE Night of Champions 2026, both Gunther and Nick Aldis were sent home for their actions on the show. Although Aldis was put on administrative leave, he still showed up on this week’s WWE Raw to bring CM Punk back.

On the 7/10 WWE SmackDown, Aldis announced that he’s been reinstated as the general manager of the show and that he took full responsibility for the whole Gunther situation.
