Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal) Doesn’t Feel Satisfied With The Way His WWE Career Ended, Would Be Open To A Loser Leaves Town Match

Raj Dhesi continues to comment on a potential return to WWE.

Since being released from the company in 2024, Dhesi has been constantly asked about a potential return to WWE. He’s largely kept the same answer each time, saying that he would need a good story or plan to pull him back in.

In a new interview with TMZ Sports, Dhesi added to that by explaining that he doesn’t want to be in a position where he feel anxious about a possible release again.

“There would just need to be some sort of long-term vision rather than just getting signed and then, oh, we’ll figure you in. Because these cuts come around, these contract cuts are happening as we’re hearing. If you’re not being used, I don’t want to be in that position where I’m stressed out where that day, you go online and you hear releases are today and then the releases start and you have so much anxiety. I don’t ever want to feel that again. I want a sense of direction. Obviously, there’s no sense of safety in WWE but when you have a sense of direction, you feel safer.”

Dhesi followed that up by saying that he doesn’t feel satisfied with the way that his WWE career ended.

“At the same time, I didn’t feel like I got satisfaction out of the way my WWE career ended. Just abruptly, out of nowhere. Not being used for several weeks and then just a phone call. I’d love to do a loser leaves town and ride off into the sunset that way. Very few of us get to do this where you can call your shot, call the way that your WWE career ends or end it on your terms, really. I think that’s one thing that I wish I could experience. If it doesn’t happen, it’s all good. I benefitted so much from my time in WWE. Still benefit from it to this very day.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Raj Dhesi recalled giving Finn Balor a concussion in 2017. Check out his full comments on the matter by clicking here.
