Rhea Ripley looks back on the first autograph she ever signed prior to the 2017 WWE Mae Young Classic.
Ripley would make her WWE debut as part of the 2017 Mae Young Classic and as part of the event, each participant would sign collectible chairs form the event.
While speaking to Topps in a new interview, Rhea Ripley recalled the first autograph she ever signed and how she came up with her signature.
“The first time I ever signed as Rhea was for the first ever Mae Young Classic, and they took us into this room and I just got my name so I didn’t have the signature, and they go, ‘see all these chairs? Yeah, you’re gonna sign them all,’ and I was like, ‘oh crap.’ So I’m like on the box, like in the Performance Center, just like trying to figure out a signature on this random box before I sign all these chairs and it’s like my signature for the rest of my life. (Q: Have you stuck with the same one?) I have, yeah. I mean, it’s definitely gotten messier. But yeah, same one.”
Later in the video, Rhea would pack a Roman Reigns autograph card.
“I’m guessing by everyone’s reaction, that’s pretty good. That’s the signature that I wanted to do since we’re both RR and I couldn’t because- thank you, Roman.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Rhea spoke about her television debut further. You can read more about that here.
