The Butcher and The Blade have departed AEW.

The duo signed with AEW in 2019, debuting on the November 27, 2019 episode of AEW Dynamite. They have not teamed on AEW TV since January 2024 due to Blade being sidelined with a spine injury.
While Blade was sidelined, Butcher did compete in singles matches in All Elite Wrestling. He has not wrestled for the promotion since February 2025 when he lost to Gabe Kidd on an episode of Collision. Blade returned to the ring on December 13, 2025 after undergoing spinal fusion surgery in September 2024.
