The Swirl: ‘When Blake And I Get Back To AEW, All Of You Teams, You Are F**ked’
Blake Christian and Lee Johnson share a message with AEW tag teams.
On Night 5 of NJPW Super Junior Tag League, The Swirl (Blake Christian and Lee Johnson) went up against HOUSE OF TORTURE (Dick Togo & SHO). They’re now up 3-1 with 4 points in the NJPW Super Junior Tag League. Standings and results archive is available here.
While speaking backstage after this match, Christian and Johnson sent a warning to the tag teams in AEW.
“When Blake and I get back to AEW, all of you teams, you are fucked. Not only are you fucked, you are royally fucked because Blake and I have not only gotten a whole lot better, but we have gained a whole lot of confidence. With that said, we don’t care if it’s Edge and Christian. We don’t care if it’s your Young Bucks. We don’t care if it’s FTR. When we get back, you are royally fucked. Because we are not just a part of your story. We are the damn story. I hope the Young Bucks win, because I would royally love to take those titles from them. But our mindset is on this IWGP tournament, winning those championships. That’s our current mindset.”

The AEW World Tag Team Titles are currently being held by The Young Bucks. They’ll defend their title against Mark Davis and Jake Doyle at AEW Full Gear in November.
The Swirl currently holds the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship with Jay Lethal.
