Tony Khan ‘Very Interested’ In Doing AEW PPV In July

AEW President Tony Khan is open to adding a July pay-per-view to the schedule.
May 24th is the date of All Elite Wrestling’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view. Next up on the docket will be Forbidden Door on June 28th, and then the company will be on the road to All In at Wembley Stadium on August 30th.
During the Double or Nothing media call, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about the possibility of adding a pay-per-view for July, and he said the following:
“When you asked about the pay-per-view in July, I am very interested in doing a pay-per-view in July. We have Forbidden Door in June, and then, at the end of August with All In. It’s something that could be very lucrative but also very additive. It can be additive and I would only do something like this if it’s additive. I take a lot of pride in the quality of the AEW pay-per-view shows. I think we bat a very high average in AEW and deliver great pay-per-view events, and I would only explore adding additional pay-per-view events to the AEW calendar if I feel that they’re going to be additive, and I think there are opportunities.”
