WWE SmackDown

- Drew McIntyre announced that he'll be facing Karrion Kross in a Strap Match at WWE Extreme Rules. Scarlett drew his attention, which allowed Kross to attack his foe from behind. They brawled, and Scarlett tried to burn McIntyre with some paper. She also hit him below the belt, and Kross locked his rival in the Kross Jacket.

- Thanks to some interference by Imperium, The Usos defeated The Brawling Brutes to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship, so The Bloodline stood tall to close the show.

- Speaking of The Bloodline, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns gave Sami Zayn his own shirt and recognized him as the Honorary Uce.

- WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Liv Morgan defeated Lacey Evans in a non-title match and went to extreme lengths to send a message to Ronda Rousey after the bout. She hit Evans with a kendo stick and sent her through a table.

- Ricochet and Madcap Moss made fun of Sami Zayn, so Solo Sikoa attacked them, setting the stage for a tag team match next week.

- Despite Otis' best efforts, Braun Strowman defeated the powerhouse. He showcased his strength by powerbombing Alpha Academy's star pupil.

- A distraction from Shotzi helped Raquel Rodriguez beat Bayley. Damage CTRL attacked Shotzi and Rodriguez after the bout, but the duo stood tall.

- Max Dupri lost his temper after the Maximum Male Models lost to the New Day, and he walked away on his own.

- Sheamus previewed his looming rematch with Intercontinental Champion Gunther.

- Los Lotharios crashed Hit Row's party and attacked Top Dolla and Ashantee "Thee" Adonis.

- In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Shotzi made it clear that she wants to do what she can to get rid of Damage CTRL.

- Los Lotharios discussed their actions in a WWE Digital Exclusive; they stated that they wanted to show Hit Row how they party.

AEW Rampage

- Eddie Kingston snapped on Friday night. He finally got his hands on Sammy Guevara, and while he initially scored the win, the referee reversed the decision when Kingston refused to break the hold. "The Mad King" then attacked several security officials.

- Hangman Page won the Grand Slam Golden Ticket Battle Royale by last eliminating RUSH. As a result, he earned a shot at the AEW World Championship, and he will challenge Jon Moxley for the gold on the Septemgber 18 episode of AEW Dynamite.

- In the aforementioned battle royale, Brian Cage returned to AEW TV; he competed in his first match for the company since October 2021. Plus, Matt Hardy reunited with Private Party, and he called the moment a delightful birthday present.

- Ricky Starks scored some sweet revenge when he defeated Powerhouse Hobbs in a Lights Out Match on Friday. In doing so, he evened the score with his former tag team partner; Hobbs beat him at AEW All Out.

- Action Bronson made his in-ring debut and formed a winning team with HOOK; the duo defeated Angelo Parker and Matt Menard.

- The Great Muta helped Sting and Darby Allin defeat Brody King and Buddy Matthews in a chaotic match.

- In a digital exclusive, Sting discussed his history with, and respect for, The Great Muta.

- Darby Allin showcased his battle scars from the match and stated that they were worth it.

- Jade Cargill defeated Diamante to retain the TBS Championship. After the bout, Trina turned on Diamante and shook hands with Cargill.

- In a digital exclusive, Cargill discussed her victory and noted that she keeps racking up wins.

- Jungle Boy scored a hard-fought win over Rey Fenix, but he didn't have long to celebrate. While Christian Cage distracted him, Luchasaurus attacked him from behind.

- Samoa Joe and Wardlow picked up a dominant win over Tony Nese and Josh Woods. After the match, Wardlow powerbombed Mark Sterling.

- Chris Jericho announced that he'll be having a championship celebration ceremony on AEW Dynamite next week.

- Referee Paul Turner stood by his decision to overturn Kingston's win. Tony Khan commented and noted that Kingston put Turner in an impossible position.

- Khan also commented on Guevara's win and called it perhaps the most undeserved victory he's ever seen.

- Guevara bragged about his win and his wife, Tay Melo. Khan responded by saying he has a lucky horseshoe.

- Ethan Page confronted Matt Hardy and made it clear that he, unlike Hardy, is in it for the money.

- Jose the Assistant expressed his hope to see a singles match between Hangman Page and RUSH.

- Danhausen posted a cryptic tweet.
