Queen Aminata Wasn’t Expecting To Win TBS Championship On AEW Fright Night Dynamite

Queen Aminata wasn’t expecting to win the TBS Championship.

Aminata made history on the October 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, as she won the title from Persephone in the show’s headlining match. This was a big step for Aminata, who has been chasing a belt in AEW for nearly six years.

Speaking on her YouTube vlog, Queen Aminata revealed that she wasn’t expecting to win the title on Fright Night Dynamite.

“I literally just got into my room and I feel like everything is sinking in now because throughout the day, like yesterday to today, I was just under a lot of stress. I was dealing with so much stuff. To be honest, I was not expecting to win today. I was expecting to have this match and maybe have another belt for the pay-per-view. But, I feel like everything happens for a reason and this — I couldn’t have imagined a better way to win this belt than main eventing Dynamite against Persephone. This is perfect, this is amazing. This is pretty, this is juicy. This is mine, I am your new TBS Champion. I can’t believe I’m saying this. I am a champion in AEW after five years. Five long years of believing in myself, of hard work, of putting extra work in even when nobody is watching. Just going out there and giving my best, giving my all, win or lose. I always wanted to just put myself out there so you guys know that, oh my god, she’s trying her absolute best.”
