A Block Semifinalists Set In NJPW G1 Climax 36

The first two semifinalists are set in the NJPW G1 Climax 36 tournament.

Yota Tsuji and Ryohei Oiwa are headed to the semifinals of the G1 Climax 36 tournament. Tsuji finished first in the A Block, while Oiwa finished second. Both men went 6-3 in the tournament, finishing with 12 points.

Tsuji had the tiebreaker, defeating Oiwa on night ten of the tournament.

Konosuke Takeshita also had a 6-3 record, but lost to Oiwa on the final night of the tournament and lost to Tsuji on night one.

Tsuji will face the runner-up in B Block while Oiwa will face the winner of B Block in the semifinals.

The semifinals are set for Saturday, August 15.
