AAA's La Parka Passes Away, Lucha Libre AAA Posts Statement

Lucha Libre AAA star La Parka has passed away at the age of 56.

La Parka was seriously injured during a four-way match against RUSH, Murder Clown, and LA Park while wrestling at Kaoz Lucha Libre's 64 Anniversary Arena Coliseum event in Monterrey on Oct. 20, 2019. The injury occurred when Parka attempted a suicide dive onto Rush, but his feet got caught on the ropes. Parka came up short on the dive, smacking his head on the concrete outside the ring. Rush and ringside officials immediately checked on Parka, who laid on the floor seemingly unconscious. He was taken away on a stretcher as the match continued.
