Adam Cole Wins His Return Match, Renee Paquette Misses Show Due To Food Poisoning | AEW Fight Size

Here is your fight size update following AEW Dynamite on March 29.

- Adam Cole returned to the ring for the first time since June 2022 and faced Daniel Garcia. Cole won the bout and celebrated with Britt Baker after the bell. Chris Jericho helped Garcia to the back and looked at Cole.

- Renee Paquette missed the show due to food poisoning.

- Backstage, tensions rose as Kenny Omega questioned Don Callis for his actions toward Hangman Page on the March 22 episode. Callis apologized and said he would go make amends. Later on, Callis tried to apologize to Hangman Page. Instead, the Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta & Claudio Castagnoli) attacked both men. PWInsider reported that Callis suffered a legitimate injury, as he hit his head and was busted open.

- Kenny Omega defeated Jeff Cobb to retain the IWGP United States Championship. The Blackpool Combat Club came out, and while Bryan Danielson initially saved Omega, he turned on the former world champion and reunited with the stable. The Blackpool Combat Club then left Omega lying with a vicious assault.

- "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry defeated Matt Hardy, thanks to an assist from HOOK; the FTW Champion took out Ethan Page after he interfered.

- AEW World Champion MJF and Perry went back and forth on the microphone after the bout, with MJF saying Perry's career had been "mid" and the only person to blame was himself. Perry fired bakc by saying that whe he wins the title, he won't wake up alone and hating himself.

- The Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor) helped Orange Cassidy beat The Butcher to retain the AEW International Championship.

- The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) went out for a night on the town with Angelo Parker and Matt Menard. Bowens and Caster said they would give the Jericho Appreciation Society an answer next week.

- TBS Champion Jade Cargill cut a promo on Taya Valkyrie and stated that she was the one and only goddess.

- The Blackpool Combat Club (Wheeler Yuta, Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli) attacked Dalton Castle and The Boys during their entrance and dominated them in a short match.

- Ahead of their upcoming match with FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler), AEW World Tag Team Champions The Gunns said it will be "top guys, out" when they retain the gold and force FTR to leave AEW.

- Thanks to some interference from Saraya and Toni Storm, Ruby Soho defeated Willow Nightingale. Riho, Skye Blue, and eventually Jamie Hayter made the save when The Outcasts attacked Willow. Riho then stared Hayter down ahead of their match on the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite.

- Juice Robinson previewed his match with Action Andretti on AEW Rampage, as well as his clash with Ricky Starks on the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite.

- TNT Champion Powerhouse Hobbs cut a promo and stated that the title will never leave his waist.
