AEW sends support to Rebel.

Tanea Brooks a.k.a. Rebel shared that she has been diagnosed with terminal ALS. She thanked AEW and company President Tony Khan for supporting her during her medical journey. She asked the public to pray for a peaceful journey and a peaceful passing.

During the May 2nd episode of AEW Collision, commentator Tony Schiavone, on behalf of AEW, sent well wishes to Brooks.

“You probably know by social media that one of our fine athletes has some very serious health problems. She announced it this week on social media. We want Rebel to know you’re a big part of AEW. We are thinking about you right now, we are praying for you, that you will pull through this. We got a lot of signs in the stands here tonight that says, ‘Rebel, we love you’ and ‘pray for Rebel,’ and we certainly do agree with that as well. Rebel, we hope you’ll get better… My dear, we are thinking about you. A wonderful young lady.”

Brooks has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since 2019. In addition to her on-screen role as an ally of Britt Baker, Brooks was hired as a makeup and hair stylist.
