It will be a Cody Christmas in North Carolina.
Sammy Guevara's open challenge for Christmas has been answered as Cody Rhodes announced that he will face Guevara for the AEW TNT Championship on AEW Rampage Christmas edition.
Cody was the first-ever AEW TNT Champion and the only two-time TNT Champion.
After Cody announced that he has a TNT Title match, The Men of the Year (Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page) questioned how Cody gets to skip the line and wondered why Guevara hasn't defended the title against Scorpio Sky. They also announced that Dan Lambert would be back soon.

On Tuesday, Tony Khan announced that Rampage would not air on Christmas Eve and instead would air on Christmas Day. The show will be taped in Greensboro, NC.
