The AEW Women's Championship will be on the line next Wednesday when Riho defends against Nyla Rose. Rose was listed as the number one contender to the championship in the latest AEW power rankings. On Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite, Rose attacked Riho backstage and powerbombed her onto a table.
Riho defeated Rose to become the first-ever AEW Women's Champion on the October 2, 2019 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Also announced for next Wednesday's show is an AEW Tag Team Title bout as the champions Hangman Page & Kenny Omega will defend against the former champions SCU (Kazarian & Scorpio Sky). Hangman & Omega defeated SCU on the Jan. 22 episode of AEW Dynamite to win the titles.
Per AEW stipulations, SCU were owed a rematch for the titles.
SCU picked up a win over The Best Friends on Wednesday while Hangman & Omega teamed with The Young Bucks in a loss to The Butcher, The Blade, and The Lucha Bros in an eight-man tag team bout.
Also set for next Wednesday is a singles bout that pits Santana against Jon Moxley. After defeating Ortiz on Wednesday, Moxley stabbed Santana in the eye as a measure of revenge.
