AJ Styles Discusses Facing Shinsuke Nakamura At WrestleMania 34 And WWE Running A Stadium Show In Australia This Year

"The Phenomenal One" says that his match at WrestleMania is the true main event.

The current WWE Champion AJ Styles will be walking into New Orleans to defend his title against "The King Of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura. The Australian radio station Triple M 104.9 caught up with the WWE Champion to grab his thoughts on the possibility of not closing out WrestleMania 34.

TNA Wrestling Confirms Signing Of Mike Santana

“Well I can tell you that most people see the main event as the last match of the show, but I can tell you that the main event of the show will be Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles,” Styles said. “It will be a main event caliber, it will be a main event talent, main event championship, it’s got everything you’re gonna’ wanna’ see in a match, no matter where it’s going to be.”

WWE has announced that they will be heading "Down Under" for a massive stadium show later this year. The show is rumored to be held in the Melbourne Cricket Ground stadium which seats 100,000 people. AJ Styles is eager to be a part of the event.

“I want to be a part of it. I know how great the fans are in Australia so I would love nothing more than to be a part of it."

"The Champ That Runs The Camp" credited WWE for having so much diversity on their talent roster. Names like: Shinsuke Nakamura, Asuka, Finn Balor, Becky Lynch and many more international talents are in prime positions in the company.

“We’re reaching out and finding different countries that want to be a part of the WWE and taking talent from places where the culture is different, everything is different, even the style what we do in the ring is different,” he said. "Different is a good thing, that’s why I think that we’ve had so much success here lately. We’re not guys who have always come from NXT or here or there, it’s from all over and I think that’s good for business.”

AJ Styles has been dealing with an injury as of late. During an interview recently, WWE Executive Vice President Triple H provided an update on "The Phenomenal One" and his status for WrestleMania 34 in three weeks.
