AJ Styles Helped Produce Tony D’Angelo vs. Naraku On 7/21 WWE NXT
AJ Styles continues to grow into his role.
On the latest episode of Phenomenally Retro, AJ Styles revealed that he helped produce the WWE NXT main event street fight between Tony D’Angelo and Naraku on the July 21 episode.
“I was able to help with the producing of the Tony D and Naraku match. I thought it went really well. I’m one of those people who is still heavily involved in watching the match. While I was on the headset, I did not do a good job of saying anything other than, ‘Ah! Yes!’ I let somebody else handle that part of the producing,” he said.
Tony D was victorious in the bout, retaining the WWE NXT Championship.
