AJ Styles Reveals Sasha Banks And Xavier Woods Joined Him For Meeting With Vince McMahon Over Twitch Ban

New information has emerged surrounding a talent meeting that took place with Vince McMahon to argue against the company's Twitch ban.

It was reported in October that several talents met with the Chairman of the Board to discuss the newly implemented third party embargo (namely Twitch and Cameo), but were seemingly unsuccessful as several wrestlers, including AJ Styles, Mia Yim, Cesaro, Aleister Black and Zelina Vega all suspended their channels. Vega was released by WWE soon after on November 13 in what was described by the company as a "breach of contract." Paige found out about the news during a live stream and went through a range of emotions. You can read her comments by clicking here.

In a recent interview with talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy, AJ Styles shed more light on the particulars of the meeting, as well as who else was involved. He claims that the situation is still being worked on and that he will likely not be happy with the outcome. He still wants to stream, he is just waiting for the opportunity to do so again. Here is his full remark:

?I did. Myself, Xavier Woods and Sasha Banks had a sit-down meeting in Connecticut with Vince about this whole situation, and it was determined that it?s intellectual property, this is [points at his face]. We do well as far as the WWE, and if there?s an opportunity to pay back that money that, you know, we work hard for, at different times, we probably should. I was doing this long before the lockdown, before the Coronavirus I was streaming and doing my thing, so I was always doing it on my time off? I wasn?t happy about it, no one was, but it is what it is. I?ll handle it the way that I have to. I?m a team player, he [Vince] is the captain, I?ll follow his lead as far as Vince is concerned. Will it change, will something happen? They?re working it as we speak. Will I be happy with it? Probably not. The opportunity to stream in the future is definitely wide-open. I obviously have the equipment, I just don?t have the opportunity to do that right now.?

AJ is set to face Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at TLC. Fightful will have full coverage of the event.
