AJPW continues to add to its schedule.
The Japanese promotion announced that a number of shows will take place in July as part of the "Summer Action Series." Below are the show dates and locations for the AJPW Summer Action Series:
- Monday, July 13: Shin-Kiba 1st Ring
- Saturday, July 18: Chiba 2AW Square
- Thursday July 23: Niigata Bandaijima Multipurpose Plaza Okama
- Saturday, July 25: Korakuen Hall
The company, like many wrestling promotions, shut down events for months, which included its annual Champion Carnival. AJPW recently announced that the Champion Carnival will return in September, but Davey Boy Smith Jr, Joel Redman, and Lucas Steel, were scheduled to compete in the tournament before the coronavirus pandemic caused travel issues, won't be participating.
Other promotions in Japan have also started to resume events. Stardom recently restarted with a show this past weekend while NJPW is in the midst of its annual New Japan Cup with the Dominion show taking place in July.
