Akira Tozawa's unbeaten run in the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Championship tournament continues.
In his second match of the tournament, Tozawa scored a victory over Jack Gallagher. Tozawa now moves to 2-0 in Group B while Gallagher is now 0-2, which means he is mathematically eliminated from advancing to the tournament.

With a win in his next match, Tozawa advances to the tournament finals where he would go on to face the winner of Group A.
In the other tournament match, Kushida defeated Jake Atlas to improve his record to 2-0. Kushida wins Group A with a win in his third match, which will be against Drake Maverick.

Below are the updated standings for each group. All wrestlers will face the other wrestlers in their respective group and after each wrestler has completed three matches, the one with the best record in each group advances to the finals.
Group A:
- Kushida: 2-0
- Jake Atlas: 1-1
- Drake Maverick: 1-1
- Tony Nese: 0-2
Group B:
- Akira Tozawa: 2-0
- El Hijo Del Fantasma: 1-1
- Isaiah “Swerve” Scott: 1-1
- Jack Gallagher: 0-2
