"We have a problem when it comes to Pro Wrestling. There's only one big company and everyone wants to do what that company does. They don't think outside the box. They don't try to have a known product with their own ideas," said El Patron. "Impact Wrestling with the new owners, with the new people behind the project, and the new talent , they are trying to do something different. In this particular case, they are really trying to reach out for the Latino fans. They are not just saying it, they are doing it," he added.

El Patron then talked about Impact Wrestling scheduling his father to be ringside at Slammiversary XV during El Patron's championship match. The pay-per-view is taking place in Orlando, Florida at the Impact Zone. Fightful Wrestling will provide live coverage of Slammiversary XV on July 2nd.

Also in the interview, El Patron discussed his role as President of Combate Americas which is holding a mixed-martial-arts event in Miami, Florida. He also discussed "passing the torch" to Pentagon El OM and his respect for him and other young talent.
