Alice Crowley Reflects On Her Career, Speaks About Future Goals
Alice Crowley speaks about her career and future goals.
Ahead of the start of the CMLL Women’s Grand Prix, Fightful’s Luis Pulido spoke to participant Alice Crowley.
She opened up about her career thus far in wrestling and said the following:
“I would say, honestly, I should have probably started a little bit later than what I did because I started at 14, but I, I think it helped me be able to get to, you know, obviously be here and like at 23, not a lot of women can say that you know they’ve done these things at this point in their career. I would say it’s definitely because of the time that I took when I was younger training instead of waiting till I turned 18 or whatever. Most places require you to be, but the place I trained at only required a parent, guardian, or somebody to be present, which I appreciated because my parents would always go with me. I think if I didn’t start that young, I wouldn’t be where I am right now, for sure. It’s genuinely just because of the fact that I have been able to get all of my reps in earlier, way early on, so now that I’m even when I was 20 going on 21 going on into 22 and now 23, I was still, you know, being able to figure that part out.”
Adding on to that, Crowley was asked about her future goals in wrestling.
“I would say that this is probably one of my goals, I mean, I feel that I can still consider it as one of my goals as it hasn’t happened yet, we still got a few days, but wrestling in Arena México was definitely, of for sure one of my goals, and to be able to say that I’m I’m doing it at 23 is just mind-blowing, it’s still mind-blowing, it’s like still even right now, and wrestling for CMLL just one of the longest running companies in existence, you know, if not the longest running company in existence, you know, it’s just… I’m so grateful, so thankful.”
The tournament starts October 23rd.
