Allysin Kay Defeats Santana Garrett To Capture NWA Women's Championship At Crockett Cup

Allysin Kay has edged her name in history.

The vacant NWA World Women's Championship was on the line at the NWA's Crockett Cup show in Concord, North Carolina today and Allysin Kay and Santana Garrett were the competitors vying to become the new Women's Champion. After a back and forth bout, it was Allysin Kay picking up the victory to win the NWA Women's Title that was presented to her by WWE Hall Of Famer Madusa.

Five days ago, the third longest reigning NWA World Women's Champion Jazz relinquished the title due to personal issues and she was originally scheduled to face Allysin Kay at the Crockett Cup event and with the injury to Jazz, Kay capitalized on the opportunity that awaited her and became the 26th individual to hold the title.
