El Idolo is back!
Andrade El Idolo has not been on AEW television in a live capacity in over a month. His last appearance was a losing effort to Darby Allin in a Coffin Match on April 20. Now, he has made his return and in doing so, he nearly immediately entered title contention.
Andrade returned as the Joker in the Casino Battle Royale on Wednesday, June 8. He did not win, however, Kyle O'Reilly did and by winning this match, O'Reilly has earned the right to face Jon Moxley in the main event of tonight's episode and the winner of that match will go on to the Forbidden Door pay-per-view to compete for the interim AEW World Championship.
