Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo are getting a fresh start.
Garza and Carrillo came to NXT on the June 13 episode and aimed to earn a shot at the tag team titles. However, they struggled to find success upon their arrival in NXT,. On the July 25 episode of WWE NXT, Carillo told Garza that he wasn't' doing "this" anymore, and he stormed off by himself.
In recent weeks, Garza and Carrillo have been featured in a series of vignettes that have teased a new direction for the duo. Another vignette aired on the August 29 episode of NXT, where Garza and Carrillo woke up with strange claw marks after they had dreams the previous night. The duo then emphasized that they had a chance to start from scratch, as they aimed to make their grandfather proud.
WWE then announced that Garza and Carrillo will return on the September 5 episode of WWE NXT.

Garza has been teasing a change on social media, as he has posted images with claw marks on them.
