For pro wrestlers, particularly ones in major companies around the world, being recognized in public comes with the gig. However, not all fan interactions with wrestlers end well, as over the past couple of years, there has been several occasions where talent were mobbed by both fans and autograph hunters alike while traveling to events. Luckily for Anthony Bowens, fans just want to scissor when they meet him.

While speaking to Jimmy V3 in a new interview, Anthony Bowens discussed meeting fans in public, stating that he has scissored people in all types of places.

“I always treat fans with the utmost respect. Every so often there’ll be somebody that’s disrespectful and I’ll remain professional, but then every so often I like to give it back a little bit. But for the most part, wherever you find me. Most people like to scissor. I’ve scissored people in all types of crazy places. Thankfully, that’s all they want to do. Because sometimes outside of the realm of pro wrestling, I can be a little bit shy. Most people just want to come up, ‘I don’t want to bother you, but can we scissor?’ Take a quick pic, and then we move about our day. It happens so much now that I have to be a little bit on guard. Because people spring up on me while I’m shopping, while I’m you know, at the airport. Just in randoms, when I’m walking down the street, sometimes people honk the horn and yell scissor me. It’s really cool.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Bowens spoke about how a chance meeting with Santino Marella would lead to him beginning his journey as a pro wrestler. You can read more about that here.
