Asuka is your Women's Money In The Bank winner.
Battling it out against five other women at WWE Headquarters, Asuka bested Nia Jax, Carmella, Shayna Baszler, Dana Brooke and Lacey Evans to win the Money In The Bank.
The match started out with chaos as Asuka did a near ten-foot crossbody onto the rest of the women, giving Asuka a head start on advancing through the rest of the building. The rest of the women gave chase, each taking turns fighting each other.
Brooke and Jax then briefly battled in what was described as the "Money In The Bank Conference Room" and for a few seconds, Brooke thought she won the match when she grabbed a briefcase full of cash. However, Stephanie McMahon broke the news to her that the actual briefcase is on the roof.
After a food fight between all competitors in the men and women's matches ensued, Asuka an Jax eventually made it to the roof, followed by Evans. Once the dust settled (and Asuka knocked Baron Corbin off a ladder), Asuka was the only woman holding the briefcase.
Asuka now has the option to cash in on either Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch or SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley. Although Bayley defended her title against Tamina at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, Lynch was nowhere to be seen. However, Lynch, who broke the record for most combined days as Raw Women's Champion this weekend, is set to confront Asuka on the May 11 episode of Raw.
