Atticus Cogar Calls Out Joseph Sawyer For Not Defending GCW Title, Sawyer Responds

At GCW Score on September 26, Joseph Sawyer walked out on his GCW Title defense against John Jeffrey after suffering an apparent knee injury. In the moment, an upset Sawyer stated that he thought he would be out for months.

He later said he thought he would be okay.

Sawyer was pulled from his Wrestling REVOLVER match on October 2, and did not travel to Alaska for GCW on October 3.

Former GCW Champion Atticus Cogar did travel to Alaska, and he called out Sawyer at the event.

Cogar said that if Sawyer wants to crash out and make a fucking idiot of himself, then he was going to crash out on him. Cogar said it’s okay if Sawyer is injured, but what pisses him off is that Sawyer is not going to be back in GCW to defend the title for a month. “You are the definition of a fucking bitch. You are a pussy. You are scared to look me in my eyes and scared to come to the locker room and face people who dedicate their lives to GCW,” said Cogar.

Cogar invited Sawyer to upcoming GCW events to defend the title against him like a man. Cogar said its time for Sawyer to stop burying the legacy of Joe Gacy.

Sawyer took to social media and wrote, “There’s a lot I could say….there’s a lot I should say……. There’s a lot that people do not know. And maybe one day that’ll come out but honestly not my place right now. I was deceived and that’s fine. I’ve been honest through out. But keep on pushing and I swear I’ll spill it all.”
