There has been a late change to tonight's Bash at the Beach card.
AEW revealed that Awesome Kong is not medically cleared to compete in tonight's tag team match against Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida due to illness. The match will go on as planned as Brandi Rhodes will replace Kong and team up with Mel tonight.

This will be Rhodes' first match on Dynamite and just her third match on AEW programming. Rhodes last wrestled on the Casino Battle Royal at the All Out show in August. Prior to that, she defeated Allie at the Fight for the Fallen show. Since then, Rhodes created the Nightmare Collective with Kong, Mel and more recently, Luther, by her side.
