Luther has arrived in AEW. Japanese Deathmatch Legend Luther, to be more specific.
During the AEW Women's Championship bout between Riho and Kris Statlander, The Nightmare Collective got involved, going after both competitors. As Statlander confronted Brandi, a bald man appeared from under the ring, and prevented Statlander from striking Brandi. The bald man turned out to be Luther, who was referred to as a "Japenese Deathmatch Legend."

Dr. Luther wrestled in FMW and WAR in the 1990s. Luther has made appearances on AEW Dynamite in the past alongside Brandi, but his face was not revealed until Wednesday.
