While Bandido is no stranger to success as a singles star, over the course of the past year, he has also ventured into the world of tag team wrestling in AEW alongside Brody King, with the pair winning the AEW Tag Titles before becoming the Trios Champions alongside Hangman Page.
While speaking to Close-Up With Renee Paquette in a new interview, Bandido spoke about his relationship with Brody King, noting that not only does he take advice from him for pro wrestling, but also as a father.
“Oh, he helped me a lot. He always takes care of me, and also he… outside to the ring, he’s giving me advice. I really love the way he is as a father. He is amazing as a father. He has something special with his kids, and I really love his style. I learn too much from him. I put that things in practice with my daughter too.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Bandido spoke about a test his father put him through at ten years old when he wanted to begin wrestling training. You can read more about that here.
