Bandido Wants Brodido To Defend AEW Tag Titles in Arena Mexico

Ahead of Brodido’s appearance on 9/13, Bandido said on CMLL Informa that he would like to defend the AEW Tag Titles in Arena Mexico.

Appearing on CMLL Informa, Bandido spoke with Julio Cesar Rivera to preview the tag team debut of Brodido (himself & Brody King) in Arena Mexico on September 13.

When asked about their involvement, Bandido expressed interest in defending their tag titles in the Wrestling Cathedral. He stated the following:

“The AEW (Tag) Championships have never been seen at Arena Mexico. For me, defending them would be something incredible for all Mexican fans, who would realize that Brodido is a sensation in the United States, England, Japan, and, why not Mexico too? Many tag teams are causing a sensation in CMLL, and we would be open to facing the best.”

Brodido retained the tag titles against Death Riders on the 9/3 edition of AEW Dynamite.

Bandido also retained the ROH World Title against Hechicero on the 8/29 edition of ROH Death Before Dishonor.

Brodido’s opponents for 9/13 have not been announced as of writing. We will have updates when they are announced.
