Battle Slam Announces 'Thriller' Event For October 30, Multiple Matches Confirmed

Battle Slam has announced the date and name for its next show.

The company has announced that it will hold its "Thriller" event in Atlanta, Georgia, on October 30. The announcement did not name a specific venue for the show.

In the tweet, Battle Slam confirmed that the event will feature the first defense of the Battle Slam ICON World Championship and the debut of a "major" star, as well as the return of another star. The announcement promised a "scary" stacked lineup, live performances, and some suprises in recognition of the Halloween season.

Tickets for the show are on sale now.

On October 7, Battle Slam announced that AEW star Abadon would be making her debut at the event, as she will take on Janai Kai in singles action.

On October 9, it was revealed that KiLynn King will debut at the 'Thriller' event as well, as she will face Battle Slam regular Queen Aminata. The following day, it was announced that KC Navarro will be taking on Kevin Knight at the event as well.

Battle Slam later announced a Free Four All Eliminator #1 Contender's Match for the show; Leon Ruff will face Shoot Taylor, Carlie Bravo, and JDX.

On October 16, Battle Slam announced a tag team bout for the event; Richard King and Ashley D'Amboise will face Chad Skywalker and Jada Stone. Plus, Jay Malachi will battle Adam Priest.

On October 17, Battle Slam confirmed that Baron Black will defend the ICON World Championship against "Speedball" Mike Bailey at the show. Black became the inaugural champion at Battle Slam: Aftermath.
