Bayley Says She Decided To Return 'When Becky Lynch Was Happiest' After Women's Intercontinental Title Win

Bayley explains the line of thinking behind her return on the June 9th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW.

On the June 9th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, Bayley would return to WWE after being taken out of WrestleMania 41 by Becky Lynch. Bayley would blindside the new WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion, and the pair are now set to face off for the championship on next week's edition of WWE Monday Night RAW.

While speaking on the latest episode of the RAW Recap, Bayley was asked about what the catalayst for her return was.

"Well, first I had to.. my shoulder had to get better. I think Becky's games have gone too far. Her turning on Lyra that second night was terrible, frigging annoying and heartbreaking for Lyra. But, I kind of just had to sit back and see how everything played out and, and me, I know my issue is with Becky, but while this is going on, while her and Lyra are going back and forth, there's really nothing that I can do. I just had to strike when the time was right. That's when she's her happiest as the new Women's Intercontinental Champion, and that's exactly why I decided to come back that night."

Elsewhere in the same interview, Bayley noted how missing WrestleMania has 'lit a fire' under her. You can read more about that here.
