Becky Lynch Discusses Friendship With Je’Von Evans: “He Calls Me Mom… I Just Think He’s The Coolest”
The dynamic between Becky Lynch and Je’Von Evans.
There have been a number of WWE talents who have spoken about Je’Von Evans’ potential. One of those names is Becky Lynch.
Lynch spoke highly of Evans during her appearance on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story? podcast. She also touched on the dynamic between her and Evans.
“But then around the business, we’ve got Je’Von Evans too, who’s 21… He’s younger than my wrestling career. He calls me mom… Because I’m old enough to be his mom. I’m so proud of him! I’m like, ‘Oh! Son! Look at ya. Look at cha. Look at cha out there main eventing Elimination Chamber,’ and I just think he’s the coolest. I think he’s so awesome. The confidence that he has and the ability that he has and his promo, everything, I’m like, ‘This kid’s a star.’” Stephanie McMahon added that she thinks Evans has no idea about his star power, and Lynch replied, “I think he knows. Yeah, he’s gotta know. You can’t be that cool without knowing.”
Evans and Lynch are both on the Raw brand. Back on the 5/25 Raw, Evans challenged Penta for the Intercontinental Championship.
Lynch lost her Intercontinental Championship to Sol Ruca at the Clash in Italy Premium Live Event.
