Becky Lynch Says Wrestling In Front Of Over 100,000 People At Her First WrestleMania Was ‘Too Overwhelming’

Becky Lynch reflects on her very first WrestleMania at WrestleMania 32 and speaks on being overwhelmed by the size of the crowd.

At WrestleMania 32, Becky would compete in her first ever match at WrestleMania when she would face off with Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks to crown the new WWE Women’s Championship. The event would take place in the AT & T stadium in Dallas, Texas, with an announced crowd of over 100,000 fans.

While speaking to Nina Drama in a new interview, Becky Lynch would speak on her first WrestleMania, noting that it was ‘too overwhelming.’

“The most I’ve wrestled in front of was in Texas. But it was over 100,000. That was my first WrestleMania. 100,000. Which was 10 years ago. WrestleMania 32, and I walked out there and I’d never been in front of… I’d never been… I don’t think I’ve ever been in a stadium before filled with people. It was too overwhelming for me the first time. Now we do it like several times a year and it’s like nothing. The second biggest city in Ireland. Now you’re not gonna believe me, but it’s Cork. So the population, well, when I was growing up, was 100,000, you know, of the second biggest city in Ireland. So when I went down in front of 100,000 people, I was like, ‘oh, yeah'”
