A new bout has been added to the January 1 episode of WWE Raw.
Becky Lynch and Nia Jax were very close to squaring off on the December 18 episode of WWE Raw, but Jax backed out of the match at the last second and decided to challenge Lynch to a match on the January 1 episode of Raw. This episode of Raw will take place in Jax's hometown of San Diego, California.
Jax decided to take the feud to another level after challenging Lynch, as she brought up the star's daughter and said that she'll be asking her mother why she looks so ugly after the match.

The bout between Lynch and Jax will be a first time bout, as the two have never faced one another in televised singles action before.
