Bianca Belair To Defend SmackDown Women's Championship Against Carmella On 7/23 WWE SmackDown

A Championship rematch has been set for the July 23 episode of SmackDown.

On July 16, Bianca Belair defeated Carmella to retain her SmackDown Women's Championship. The match came about because Bianca's original Money in the Bank opponent, Bayley, suffered an injury earlier in the week and will be out of action for the next 9 months.

Carmella took to Twitter after the match to complain about the result and said that it was unfair how she only had 6 days to prepare for Belair.

Bianca appeared on the most recent edition of Talking Smack and had this to say to Carmella:

"Typical Carmella, like you said. She [said she] had six days to prepare. People love to go on Twitter and talk about how they're not bothered when they are, which is fine. She got in the ring with me tonight, so, all I can say is I'm a fighting champion and I don't back down from anything. So, if she wants a rematch, let's do it again next week. I'm all for it. Let's do it... I'm saying, be careful what you ask for because now I'm granting it to Carmella, next week."

Bianca Belair versus Carmella for the SmackDown Women's Championship is currently the only match planned for next Friday's show.
