Growing up in the south, Big E was more of a WCW fan when it came to his wrestling fandom. And there was one wrestler who stood out above everyone else for one half of the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
When discussing their favorite wrestlers on a recent episode of New Day: Feel The Power, Big E stated his favorite wrestler is, "The one, the only, GOLDBERG! Football was king, I played in college and Goldberg being, playing for the Falcons, he just had that mystique. That Goddess type, carved from stone, the way he came out. I don't know why he had that much security. I don't know why he needed those people. The way he came out, the mystique. The sparkler fireworks. He'd be in the ring sometimes for 20 seconds, but he had that aura and presence. And seeing people losing their minds for it, that was my guy."
