Big E Says He Plans On Cashing In Money In The Bank Tonight, We Have No Clue If He's Serious

Big E may become WWE Champion tonight.

When Monday Night Raw went off the air last week, the planned main event for this week's episode was a WWE Raw Tag Team Championship match which would see Bobby Lashley and MVP challenge Randy Orton and Riddle. This was originally intended to build to Bobby Lashley defending his WWE Championship against Randy Orton at WWE Extreme Rules on Sunday, September 26.

However, during a commercial break from the most recent episode of SmackDown, it was announced that Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton would not be waiting and they would have their WWE Championship match on Monday, September 13. Things would become even more uncertain as Big E tweeted on the day of September 13 that he would be cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase for the WWE Championship.

Currently, there is no way to tell whether or not he is actually intending on cashing in or not, but since the Money in the Bank briefcase was instituted in 2005, more cash-in attempts, successful or otherwise, have taken place on Monday Night Raw than any other event or television show in the WWE calendar. This includes the most recent cash in from Nikki A.S.H on the night after Money in the Bank 2021.
