Billy Corgan Thanks Triple H & Nick Khan For Supporting NWA: “WWE Has Treated Me Like Gold”

Billy Corgan credits WWE for their support.
As the National Wrestling Alliance is inching closer to their 78th Anniversary Show on July 25th, the organization’s owner Billy Corgan stopped by Busted Open.
Corgan commented on WWE’s Nattie being scheduled for in-ring action at NWA 78. He then thanked WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque and WWE President Nick Khan for their support of NWA. Corgan added that WWE has treated him like gold.
“I can tell you I think this is the strongest card we’ve ever put on. This NWA 78 card. There’s certain matches we’re not able to announce yet because of television stuff. Our television tends to be a bit delayed. Nattie will be in wrestling action so we’re very excited about that and of course, thank you Nick Khan and Triple H. The support of the NWA has been mind-blowing to me. Of course, WWE is the industry leader. They drive most of the conversation… But, behind the scenes, WWE has treated me like gold. I have nothing but praise for them. They’ve just been amazing with me. So, what can I say? Maybe that’s just at the end of the day, Triple H being a fan of old school NWA, it means something to him that the NWA has come back too.”
Elsewhere on the NWA front, they are introducing a new competition series. For more on that, click here.
