Karmen Petrovic Says Going Forward In WWE NXT She Will No Longer Have Her Sword During Her Entrance

Karmen Petrovic confirms that moving forward, she will be without a large part of her WWE presentation, as she will drop her sword.

Throughout her time in WWE NXT, Karmen has entered for matches and segments along with her trusty sword, which she would use to begin her entrance. Notably, she recently did not have the sword with her in WWE NXT, where she has joined up with Nattie and Nikkita Lyons.

While speaking in a new interview with The Dallas Morning News, Karmen Petrovic would discuss joining the new faction in NXT.

“She’s incredible. I’m so blessed to be able to work alongside her. She constantly pours back into the company, into the people that she works around, insane workhorse, somebody who just wants the product to be better, and comes in with her best foot forward every single time. … Everything that she’s given and continues to give just fuels me even more, and there was one piece of advice she told me, which is kind of just like, keep your head above the water — especially with the amount of years of experience and how long she’s been in the company, it truly did make me feel like, okay, she knows what she’s talking about absolutely. Just keep your head afloat, because the currents can always change, but as long as you stay swimming, keep your head up, it keeps going.”

Karmen would also discuss her absent sword, noting that for the time being, it will not be a part of her WWE presentation.

“The sword is a part of me, so whether I hold it or not, it’s always there. Like I said, for me, I’m a walking weapon, so sometimes I don’t need it on my shoulder. But definitely that was kind of a choice of me going forward with the new faction in NXT that I’m part of with Natty, going forward I want to give 110% of myself so people aren’t just thinking Karmen’s the sword girl. Karmen’s a badass, whether or not she has a sword. So, you know, there’s no capping it. Definitely, it could come back, maybe within the quick future, or it could take some time, but definitely it’s not gone forever.”
