Details about the alleged abuse that Billy Jack Haynes put his wife through before her death.

William Albert Haynes III, also known as former pro wrestler Billy Jack Haynes, was accused of killing his 85-year-old wife Janette Becraft in February 2024. Haynes, 71, has been sued by Becraft's estate for elder abuse, per court documents (via FOX 12 Oregon).

Haynes is being charged with second-degree murder. Earlier this month, he was deemed unfit to stand trial.

Becraft's estate filed a $750,000 lawsuit against Haynes in Multnomah County on May 22nd. They're claiming that for five years leading up to her death, she was mentally, physically, and financially abused by Haynes.

The suit notes that Becraft was vulnerable and disabled which made her susceptible to Haynes' alleged treatment.

Some of the claims are that Haynes made Becraft end contact with her family, liquidate her retirement funds, withdraw money from her account, and switch medical providers to providers he had a relationship with.

In addition to that, Haynes allegedly introduced Becraft to heroin and meth, forced her to purchase a gun that he was unable to acquire because of his criminal record and he forced her to marry him in 2021.
