Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASH) are the new IWGP Tag Team Champions, defeating FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.
The finish saw Bishamon hit GYR on Dax for the victory. FTR looked to have the victory multiple times throughout the match, including hitting Big Rig, but Bishamon were able to make diving saves to keep the match going.
After the bout, Bishamon and FTR showed mutual respect by shaking hands.
Bishamon earned a shot at the IWGP Tag Team Titles by winning 2022 World Tag League.
This marks the second reign as IWGP Tag Team Champions for Bishamon. FTR won the titles at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. They made two successful defenses of the titles.
