After weeks of intense training, Boa and Xia Li will return to NXT next week at New Year's Evil.
For weeks now, what started as a Xia Li losing streak has morphed into both she and Boa undergoing rigorous training while being watched over by an elder that holds great significance to them that has yet to be explained.
In recent weeks, we have seen Xia Li physically punished Boa at the request of others, both individuals holding their breath underwater for an unknown amount of time, and both competitors absolutely petrified of disappointing a mysterious female with a painted face.
Even though we don't know what changes they will be bringing with them to NXT just yet, it appears their training is finally complete as they have been promised to be in attendance next week at New Year's Evil.

New Year's Evil will also feature Kyle O'Reilly challenging for the NXT Championship, a Last Woman Standing Match, a Fight Pit matchup, and more.
